AWARDS
We started with a small induction furnace to manufacture utensil grade steel for domestic markets. In just over a decade and a half, we have won over 90 product certifications and approvals in the petrochemical, food and beverage, construction, pharmaceutical, defence and marine industries. On the way to becoming a leading steel company, we have not only won many awards but also passed numerous milestones, each a laurel in its own right. We have showcased here some of the laurels which came our way while taking the steps towards becoming one of the largest manufacturers of Stainless Steel Long products in India.
Madhavrao Scindia Leadership Awards (MSLA) in Kanpur:
On 25th December 2010 our Managing Director, Mrs Renu Kochhar, was declared the “BUSINESS WOMAN OF THE YEAR” at the Madhavrao Scindia Leadership Awards (MSLA) in Kanpur.
Dignitaries in attendance who awarded Mrs Kochhar were: Hon’ble Sri Prakash Jaiswal, MP. Indian National Congress; Hon’ble Sri Arun Yadav, Union Minister of State Govt. Of India; and Hon’ble Sri Pradeep Mishra, President of Madhavrao Scindia Leadership Award 2009.
Renu attributed her success to Mr Neeraj Raja Kochhar who has unconditionally supported her throughout her career and accepted the award on behalf of her Virajian Family without whom such success would not be possible.
FACT:
The MSLA is given in memory of the Late Shree Madhavrao Scindia who was born to the last ruling Maharaja of Gwalior and was a prominent Indian Politician and Minister from the Congress Party. The awards have been instituted to award individuals who have excelled in their working field and contributed to society. These awards are given every year by the UP congress committee to honour the men and women who stand at the forefront of the world. The awards promise to acknowledge the best, brightest and most dynamic Indians who have emerged leaders in their respective fields and are leading India in her journey toward being a global superpower.
EEPC India Regional Award:
On 29th September 2010, Viraj Profiles Pvt. Ltd received the SEEPZ-SEZ HIGHEST EXPORTER Award among EOU’s.
The award was received by our Managing Director, Honorable Mrs. Renu Kochhar from Mrs. Anita Agnihotri, IAS, Development Commissioner, SEEPZ-SEZ, Mumbai.
Since 2008-09, SEEPZ-SEZ administration commenced annual awards in different categories of Export Performance including: Highest Export (in terms of FOB), Highest Net Foreign Exchange Earner etc.
